Dr. M. Singaravelu,
MBBS, DCH, MD, DNB (Pediatrics), FIAP
Prof. Dr. M. Singaravelu serves as the Head of Pediatrics at RK Hospitals, Thanjavur. He completed his MBBS, DCH, and MD in Pediatrics from Thanjavur Medical College. With over 40 years of experience in pediatrics, he has mentored more than 30 batches of pediatric postgraduates, having held positions as the Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Dean at Thanjavur Medical College.
Consultant Pediatrician and Neonatologist, A renowned speaker, Dr. Singaravelu has delivered lectures and orations at various state and national conferences. He is also a national-level trainer for pediatric programs such as the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Achievements:
- Dr. V. Balagopalaraj Active Pediatrician Award by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics – Tamil Nadu in 2000.
- Best Teacher Award in 2011 during Teacher’s Day celebrations by Dr. MGR Medical University.
- Recipient of 19 national-level awards from the Indian Academy of Pediatrics for leadership and organizing several CMEs and public awareness activities.
